Rapeseed meal, called canola oil in North America, Australia and some other countries is the by-product of the extraction of oil from rapeseed. It is a protein-rich ingredient that is widely used to feed all classes of livestock including ruminant and non-ruminant animals. Worldwide production of rapeseed meal is second only to soybean meal. Rapeseed oil used to have a poor reputation due to the presence of erucic acid, which has a bitter taste and cause health problems. The use of rapeseed meal as an animal feed was also limited by the presence of glucosinolates, which are antinutritional factors detrimental to animal performance.

Main Benefits :

Amantro’s rapeseed meal contains no detectable or zero amount of glucosinolates and erucic acid, an unpalatable and toxic fatty acid due to its micro encapsulation

The micro encapsulation of Amantro’s rapeseed meal tends to form layers and block the potential constraints which cause various physiological disorders in liver, kidneys or thyroid gland of monogastrics and result in increased broiler / laying hens performance.

Amantro’s Rapeseed meal is relatively rich in fiber and removing the hull fraction results in a meal containing more protein and less fiber, thus improving its digestibility and nutritional value, particularly for monogastric animals.
